SAFE'S ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING OUTREACH EVENT
SPRING 2018
Due to the upcoming Ultra Music Festival, SAFE sought to keep FIU students aware of potential victims of sex trafficking and what to do if you are aware of the issue. This event focused on the LGBTQA community due to them being the most vulnerable group of people to fall victim to human trafficking. This event was very informative about factors that contribute to transgenders entering sex work, life expectancies of minors who enter sex work, and human trafficking on an international scale.
